NEW PATIENS

When you come to ther surgery for the first time I’m legally bound to ask you to sign a form in which you grant me permission to keep your medical records on file.

Furthermore I will ask you if you have a medical history or if you are taking any medication. Please bring current medication with you as well as details of existing or recent medical conditions. To prescribe medication safely it is very important for me to have this information.

CONSULTING HOURS

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, there are no more walk-in consultation hours. We now only work with appointments. Best to call in the morning to make an appointment.

Also for bloodtests and INR you need to make an appointment.

In the weekends the surgery is closed.

HOUSE CALLS

You can request a house call if you are too ill to come to the clinic, telephone number (+34) 966 865 103. I will need to know exactly where you are (name and room number of the hotel, name and number of the apartmentbuilding, address and house number of the chalet or villa, etc.).

I carry out house calls within the area bordered by and including la Cala de Finestrat and the village of Altea. If you find yourself outside this area you can still get in contact with me to ascertain whether or not I can visit you.

OUT-OF-HOURS SERVICES

From October untill April you can call the surgery if you need a doctor outside the openinghours. During the months April until September there is no on call doctor. In case of a problem that can't wait you can go to the emergency department of one of the hospitals in Benidorm or you can call them. REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

If you are not a registered patient you have to come for a consult for repeat prescriptions. If you are a regular patient you can leave the empty boxes or a list at the reception, or send an e-mail with what you need and collect the prescriptions the following day.

General practitioner not available

I will not be present in the surgery on Spanish public holidays. You can call the surgery and will be connected with the doctor on call. If I have other holidays you can find this under announcements.
